Veterans Homelessness Ended in Trenton/Mercer in 2015Trenton Mayor Eric Jackson receives 2015 Innovation in Governance Award from League of Municipalities and the Department of Community Affairs for creation of the Coordinated Entry and Assessment Services (CEAS) Center for single homeless individuals.

The Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness congratulates Mayor Jackson on receiving this award on November 18,2015 at the annual League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic City.
The award acknowledges the importance of innovative solutions to homelessness in New Jersey's cities. The CEAS Center is part of the larger CEASe Homelessness System.

The Mercer Alliance was instrumental in developing the policy and assisting in the implementation of the CEASe system to house single homeless individuals."Having the leadership of Mayor Jackson is essential to our plan to end homelessness among single adults. The City of Trenton has made a major financial and personnel commitment in the CEAS Center at 509 Perry St in Trenton. It is symbolic of the City of Trenton's commitment to ending homelessness. We are proud to be their partners."
