Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness
Urgent - Looking for Homeless Families

The City of Trenton is looking to identify HOMELESS FAMILIES that meet the following criteria:

Family who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, meaning:

1. Has a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not meant for human habitation;

2. is living in a publicly or privately operated shelter designated to provide temporary living arrangements, (including congregate shelters, transitional housing, and hotels and motels paid for by charitable organization or federal, state and local government programs); or

3. is exiting an institution where (s)he has resided for 90 days or less and who resided in an emergency shelter or place not meant for human habitation immediately before entering that institution.

Must not be receiving TANF and have some source of income.
Must not be coming from a doubling up situation
Must be in Mercer County, New Jersey

If you are aware of families that meet these criteria please contact me as soon as possible. We are trying to identify these families in order to determine eligibility for assistance from their current living situation.
